The Reach and Rescue Pole in Action Rescuing an Animal in Danger

The RSPCA cruelty line went through over a million calls last year from the public in which some of the callers situations led to dramatic rescue operations of animals.

Take a look at this amazing footage of a team rescuing a lamb from a really dangerous position at the Cliffside’s.

The RSPCA operate in a huge variety of animal rescue scenarios, but in some of these situations the rescuer can be put at risk to save the life of the animal, just like the video seen above.

RSPCA have trailed some of the award winning Reach and Rescue equipment with success, as the lives of some animals in situations involving water and heights have been rescued using the equipment that was trailed.  A lamb, and a Jackdaw bird have been rescued to name a few.

The RSPCA receive one call every 28 seconds regarding an animal in need of rescue. Many of these situations can put the rescuer(s) in potential danger, but the brave members of the RSPCA are passionate about what they do, and strive to save every animal life they can. In many specific situations the Reach and Rescue system can eliminate the potential dangers rescuers put themselves in due to its exceptional operator safety.
